Traditional building preserved since Edo period

Takada clan was a landlord and serving as Shoya (was the head of a municipality) in Fukuman district.
The steep rafter roofs are one meter thick even its edge of the eaves.

The core of a traditional residential building is surrounded by row house, rice storehouse, and miso storehouse. The late Edo era original technique and construction method are designated as Cultural Properties of Tottori.

Unfortunately, because it is still used as a residence, the public has not been inside.
