Kaike Onsen

Unique and rare hot springs from Ocean are called “Salt spring”.

Kaike Onsen was found almost accidentally by local fisherman. Then, this area has been developed by Mr Matsutaro Arimoto and became the largest Onsen resort in Sanin.
The water pressure never waned since 100 years ago and still keeps running.

The hot springs contain beneficial minerals for thermal, neuralgia, rheumatism, and skin problems. Likewise, it is also popular among women due to shiny skin effect of the salt water. You may become more attractive women here in Kaike.

Also, one of the most important things at Onsen resort is regional cuisine!
Kaike is surrounded by bountiful seafood from sea of Japanese and bountiful vegetable from Daisen. Those abundant ingredients are much more than other Onsen resort. You can catch and eat oysters at Kaike beach in summer. You can eat crabs as much as you can in winter. Tos of boar meats, mushrooms, and other kinds of vegetables from the mountain are there for you. You can’t eat them up at Kaike Onsen cuisine, can you??

Then, Kaike onsen becomes famous because of the birth place of Japan iron man (Triathlon). You swim across the beautiful Kaike Ocean, bike through the Daisen, and finally run through Yumigahama peninsula of beautiful white sand. This is really a favorable location for triathlon. The Kaike Ironman Triathlon is held every July and heated battle for the number of players gathered.
