Fukuichi archaeological site
A junction of Hino River and Hosshoji River. Fukuichi archaeological site is on the gentle hill.
When the areas began planning and investigating for large residential complexes and school, it was observed to have significant value in Sanin and was decided to be saved as a historic use.

A number of settlements remains, more than 200 of tombs and about 35,000 of several types of potteries, jewels, and tools are found. It was very extensive ruins of unprecedented in nation.

Currently, some site remains as it is as historical park, and reproduced scenes like Yayoi period.

At the “Yonago city archaeological museum” next door, there are lots of artifacts which was found in the site are exhibited.

Besides, the park is maintenance as a place of relief, it entertain people observing bloom of cherry, azalea, and iris flowers when its own season.
