Munakata Shrine

On the route 181, after passing Yonago bypass, Munakata shrine is on your right side. This is the oldest shrine around this area and one of the top six shrines.

God of “longevity of Samurai (luck on the battle)” and “maritime safety”.
A number of Kofun, megalithic tombs, are found here. It is very quiet and peaceful so that you are often forgetting the national road is right next.

It has a very good reputation for its brilliant color in fall.
